Client advisory regarding Yahoo’s massive hacking incident

To All our Valued Clients,

If you have registered Yahoo email addresses for your online banking transactions, we advise you to immediately change your passwords to ensure continued protection of your iAccess accounts.

This is a precautionary measure in-line with the recent confirmation of Yahoo that user information belonging to at least 500 million accounts were stolen from its network since late 2014. As per reports, the stolen data included users’ names, email addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, hashed passwords and security questions for verifying an accountholder’s identity.

To protect from phishing attacks, clients are also advised to avoid clicking on links or downloading attachments from suspicious emails that ask for personal information.
