Tuesday, March 28, 2017

LANDBANK’s Corporate Services Sector Head/EVP Julio Climaco Jr. together with Acting Head of Human Resource Management Group and concurrent Personnel Administration Department Head/AVP Joselito Vallada, and BEO May Dar-Arizabal receive the Certificate of Recognition for HR Maturity Level 3 from the Civil Service Commission under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resources Management (PRIME-HRM)

LANDBANK achieved Maturity Level 3 from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) under the commission’s Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).

LANDBANK was the only agency awarded with Maturity Level 3 for all the core HR systems during the awarding ceremonies held at Novotel Manila Araneta Center, Quezon City last March 8, 2017.

The Maturity Level 3 recognition indicates that LANDBANK has consistently complied with CSC’s requirements, and has initiated remarkable development in HR management systems and programs. With this recognition, the Bank was conferred with a “Deregulated” status – giving the Bank authority to take final action on appointments, and implement HR programs and systems without the need for prior approval by the CSC.

The Certificate of Recognition for the Bank was received by Corporate Services Sector Head/EVP Julio Climaco Jr. together with Acting Head of Human Resource Management Group and concurrent Personnel Administration Department Head/AVP Joselito Vallada, and BEO May Dar-Arizabal.

“We welcome this very timely CSC PRIME-HRM recognition for LANDBANK as it validates the current high maturity level of the Bank’s HR systems. More importantly, this drives us to continue evolving our HR systems to a Maturity Level 4 and ultimately, to make LANDBANK a Center for HR Excellence,” said Climaco.

Enhancing human resource management

PRIME-HRM is a program that inculcates meritocracy and excellence in the public service HR management through a program of reward, recognition, empowerment, and continuous development.

Part of the implementation of the program is the assessment of the four core HR systems, which are: (1) Recruitment, Selection and Placement; (2) Learning and Development; (3) Rewards and Recognition; and (4) Performance Management.

To further improve on HR Maturity Level accreditation, CSC will conduct on-site audit and validation during the year.
