Hon. Rosalinda D. Baldoz

A member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and a Christian leader in government, Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz, a career executive service officer, has, for 35 years, maintained an untarnished record and reputation for honesty, integrity, and competence that has elevated her to a commanding view of the public service arena.
She had served the DOLE in various capacities: as a contractual staff at the Bureau of Labor Relations in 1975; Mediator-Arbiter in 1976; Labor-Arbiter in 1982; Deputy Administrator, later Deputy Executive Director, and finally, Executive Director of the National Conciliation and Mediation Board in 1997. In 1998, she was appointed DOLE Undersecretary for Labor Relations and Management Services and in 2001, rose to become head the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration, a position she held for seven years.
She was a consistent scholar from elementary up to her tertiary and post-graduate education and holds bachelor degrees in Arts and Science and Law, and a master's degree in National Security Administration.
For her professional achievements, she had been honored with numerous awards and citations, with the DOLE bestowing her twice its highest honor - the DOLE KAPWA Awards - first in 2000 and second in 2002.
