SMART subscribers across the country can soon pay their phone bills thru the Land Bank of the Philippines' ATMs, Phone Banking and Retail Internet Banking Facilities.
In recent ceremonies, LANDBANK President and CEO Gilda E. Pico and SMART President and CEO Napoleon L. Nazareno signed the Memorandum of Agreement for the electronic Bills Payment Acceptance Facility.
Pico said that through the Bank's bills payment facilities, SMART's more than 28 million subscribers will soon have three additional bills payment options.
SMART subscribers who are LANDBANK ATM account holders may readily pay their bills in any of the LANDBANK ATMs nearest their residence or workplace. To date, LANDBANK has a total of 777 ATMs conveniently located both in key cities and even remote provinces.
With LANDBANK's Phone Access facility, SMART subscribers can enjoy the convenience of 24 x 7 banking, including bills payment.
Meanwhile, the i-Access, LANDBANK's retail internet banking facility, will soon be another payment option for SMART subscribers.
For his part, SMART President and CEO Napoleon L. Nazareno said the tie-up is a great opportunity for the mobile company to widen the reach of its broadband noting the magnitude of LANDBANK's network of branches, particularly its presence in all of the provinces of the country.
