Climaco, Jr. and First Vice President for Corporate Affairs Catherine Rowena V. Villanueva were there to accept the award last April 12, 2018 at the LANDBANK Plaza.

ADFIAP Deputy Secretary-General Norman A. Tilos and Executive for Membership Sandy Lim were present to witness the event.

The LANDBANK Financial Inclusion Caravan is the Bank’s financial literacy program designed to help bring more Filipinos into the fold of formal banking services and contribute to the government’s thrust to promote greater financial inclusion.

Now on its second year, LANDBANK’s Financial Inclusion Caravan has helped over 7,000 underserved Filipinos from mostly third- to fifth-class municipalities nationwide to learn more about formal banking and other financial services.

Themed, “Ipon at Kabuhayan para sa mga Kababayan,” the financial literacy campaign was held in a series of caravans covering a total of 17 municipalities (nine in 2016 and eight in 2017) from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao where participants learned about money saving tips, banking products and services, and livelihood opportunities.
